Partizani goes today against Siroki Brijeg with the same formation
Partizani will play today at "Qemal Stafa" stadium in Tirana at 20:00 against Siroki Brijeg, in a first qualifying round match of the UEFA Cup. The first match in Bosnia finished goalless. Today Lika is expected to field the same starting eleven that he used in the first match. Edvan Bakaj will be on goal. On defence from left to right will be Hallaci, Pinari, Osmani and captain Beqiri. Dhembi and Karapici will occupy the center of the midfield while Gjyla and Muzaka will work the wings. The scoring duties will fall on the 25 year old summer signing Marjus Ngjela and Elis Bakaj will be behind him.
Lika said that both teams have almost the same chance of reaching the second qualifying round. He added that Partizani will actually have the harder job because they have to get a win in order to advance, while Siroki Brijeg can go through with a tie.
Partizani will kick off the new season against Lushnja
Partizani will start the new season on August 24th, away at "Roza Haxhiu" stadium, against Lushnja who was just promoted to the Albanian Superliga. The first home game of the season will be a tough encounter with Vllaznia, Saturday, August 30th at "Qemal Stafa".

Partizani against NK Siroki Brijeg in UEFA Cup
Today at 13:30 in Nyon, Switzerland, in the first qualifying round draw for the UEFA Cup, Partizani was handed a match up with NK Siroki Brijeg of Bosnia-Hersegovina. Siroki Brijeg is a team founded in 1948 in the small town of the same name with a majority of croatioan population.
The team features many croatian players, along with bosnians, brazilians and one player each from Switzerland and Germany.
They came second in the domestic league, only one point after champions Modrica. Siroki Brijeg has played 20 matches in European competitions, 6 in the Champions League and 14 in the UEFA Cup. They have a positive record of 10 wins, 1 draw and 9 losses.
In the 2005/06 season they played against another Albanian team, Teuta Durres, in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup. They lost 3-1 in Albania, but bounced back at home with e 3-0 win and advanced to the second round.
Week 24: Teuta - Partizani 1-2
Partizani needed a win against Teuta to reach Dinamo at the top of the Albanian Superliga and that is exactly what they got Sunday, erasing a first half deficit to win 1-2 away.
Partizani looked the better side in the first half but things got complicated for the "reds" in the 39th minute when Vangjel Mile scored for the home team to take a 1-0 lead to the dressing rooms.
Partizani came out looking for a goal in the second half and it was Arber Abilaliaj that scored twice in eight minutes (54' and 62') to give Partizani dhe win and the much needed three points. Partizani are now tied at the top of the table with Dinamo at 48 points each, followed by Elbasani nine points behind.

Malindi goes to PFC Slavia Sofia
Enco Malindi will not be with Partizani anymore. The forward will be going to the Bulgarian capital where he will play for PFC Slavia Sofia. After a long negotiation between the two clubs, it was agreed on a fee of $50.000 and 30% of the next sale of the player. Malindi had made it obvious that he wanted to move abroad after outstaying his 1-week trial period with the Bulgarian club, before returning to Partizani this month.
Enco Malindi has played for two seasons with the first team of Partizani after coming from the youth ranks. He has played 27 matches (7 as a starter) in the league, scoring 2 goals.
